Gas Calcined Anthracite Coal

1. Feature:

GCA coal is produced in gas-fired furnaces under a temperature of 700°C~1300°C, obtaining a depolarized and partially graphitized product.

The primary application of GCA is in steel mill ladles, melting, holding and even blast furnaces as carbon raisers, carbon additives, recarburizers, injection carbon and carbon foaming material.

2. Application:

It is used primarily as a carbon additive/carburize/carbon raiser in steel/foundry industry.

Calcined Anthracite Coal/Carbon Additive may substitute massively refinery coke or the stone grinds. Meanwhile, its cost is much less than the refinery coke and the stone grinds. Carbon Additive may also use as the fuel may substitute burnt carbon massively.

Calcined Anthracite is produced when Anthracite is calcined under the temperature of 1240 in vertical shaft furnaces. Calcined Anthracite is mainly used in electric steel ovens, water filtering, rust removal in shipbuilding and production of carbon material
